Our state-of-the-art blasting booths and experienced technicians ensure precision blasting without damaging delicate aerospace parts.
Grit Blasting
Abrasive particles accelerated to high speeds Grit blasting, also known as sand blasting, is a process that uses abrasive particles accelerated to high speeds. These particles are forcefully directed against a surface to remove contaminants and condition the surface for subsequent finishing. It is commonly used before surface treatment to reduce maintenance costs and increase the duration of coatings.
Sand Blasting
Sandblasting, also known as abrasive blasting, is a process that involves forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure. It is primarily used to: • Smooth or roughen surfaces: Sandblasting can either smooth a rough surface or roughen a smooth one. • Remove contaminants: It effectively removes paint, rust, debris, and scratches from various surfaces. • Etch surfaces: Sandblasting can also be used to add texture or design to surfaces.
Shot Blasting
Shot blasting is an abrasive blasting process used to clean, polish, and strengthen surfaces, primarily in metalworking. It involves propelling small metallic or abrasive particles, known as shots, at high speeds onto a surface using compressed air or centrifugal force. This technique is effective for removing contaminants, preparing surfaces for coatings, and enhancing the surface finish. Shot blasting differs from sandblasting in its mechanism and the type of abrasive media used, making it more aggressive for heavy duty surface.preparation.
Glassbead Blasting
Glass bead blasting is a widely used surface finishing technique that employs the use of fine glass beads (small, spherical particles) to blast or clean a surface, typically metal or plastic.
Alumninum Oxide Blasting
Aluminum oxide blasting is a process that uses aluminum oxide as a blasting media to remove paint, coatings, and surface treatments from workpieces or objects. Aluminum oxide is a tough, medium density abrasive that is cost-effective in blasting processes due to its recyclability. It is known for its superior hardness and strength, as well as low heat retention. It is commonly used for intensive blasting on some of the hardest metals and surfaces due to its ability to smooth and penetrate even the toughest metals.
